Члени Наглядової ради, правління, а також керівники окремих структурних підрозділів Суспільного Мовлення пройшли тренінг з питань корпоративного управління, який відбувся 28-29 квітня за підтримки Шведського агентства з міжнародного розвитку та співробітництва.

Тренінг був присвячений ефективному впровадженню заходів щодо підвищення рівня корпоративного управління та посиленню роботи над вдосконаленням систем внутрішніх комунікацій. Організатор — Український інститут корпоративного управління.

«Ми давно планували провести таке навчання, щоб детально ознайомитися з новаціями двох законів — “Про акціонерні товариства” та “Про медіа”. Крім того, Наглядова рада рекомендувала цього року членам правління пройти навчання з корпоративного управління. Нагадаю, Суспільне створено на базі майже тридцяти державних мовників, де управління було в руках генеральних директорів. Зараз Суспільне — це велика корпорація, яка має акціонера, наглядову раду і правління. Це зовсім інший механізм керівництва, його треба не тільки знати, а й постійно удосконалювати. Ми, звичайно, не класичне акціонерне товариство, яке запрограмоване на отримання прибутку, але багато норм закону “Про акціонерні товариства” нас також стосуються. Я із задоволенням послухала про всі новації законів. Думаю, такі навчання допоможуть зробити роботу нашої корпорації більш якісною», — прокоментувала Світлана Остапа, голова наглядової ради Суспільного Мовлення.

«Вдосконалення корпоративного управління — постійна задача для керівництва будь-якої організації нашого рівня. При цьому важливо мати спільне розуміння засад та принципів роботи корпорації. Тому я дуже ціную можливість навчатися саме корпоративного управління разом з командою й апаратом Наглядової ради та з керівниками профільних підрозділів компанії. Звісно, така спільна робота має бути регулярною та всебічною — ми маємо враховувати юридичні новели, зміни в робочому процесі компанії, зовнішні виклики. Дуже сподіваюсь продовжити роботу восени», — зазначив Дмитро Козлов, член правління Суспільного, відповідальний за управління персоналом

Продажі».

Corporate governance training was held at Suspilne Ukraine

Members of the Supervisory Board, the Managing  Board, and heads of certain structural units of Suspilne Ukraine attended a training on corporate governance, which took place on April 28-29 with the support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.

The training was devoted to effective implementation of measures to improve corporate governance and enhancement of internal communications systems. The training was organised by the Ukrainian Corporate Governance Institute.

"We have been planning to hold such training for a long time to familiarise ourselves with the innovations of the two laws - On Joint Stock Companies and On Media. In addition, the Supervisory Board recommended that this year the members of the Managing Board undergo corporate governance training. Let me remind you that  Suspilne Ukraine was created on the basis of almost thirty state broadcasters, where management was in the hands of general directors. Today,  Suspilne Ukraine is a large corporation that has a shareholder, a supervisory board, and a managing board. This is a completely different governance mechanism, which needs not only to be known but also to be constantly improved. Of course, we are not a classic joint-stock company programmed to make a profit, but many of the provisions of the Law on Joint Stock Companies also apply to us. I was pleased to hear about all the innovations in the law. I think such trainings will help to make the work of our corporation more qualitative," commented Svitlana Ostapa, chair of the Supervisory Board of Suspilne Ukraine.

"Improving corporate governance is a constant task for the management of any organisation of our level. At the same time, it is important to have a common understanding of the foundations and principles of the corporation. That is why I really appreciate the opportunity to study corporate governance together with the Supervisory Board team and staff and with the heads of the company's specialised departments. Of course, such joint work should be regular and comprehensive - we must take into account legal innovations, changes in the company's workflow, and external challenges. I look forward to continuing our work in the fall," said Dmytro Kozlov, member of Suspilne Ukraine Managing Board responsible for human resources management.

The speakers of the training were: Oleksandr Okuniev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporate Governance Professional Association (CGPA), Volodymyr Ihonin and Natalia Lysa, members of the CGPA Board of Directors, Nadiia Pavlova, member of the Guild of Professional Internal Auditors of Ukraine, Nadiia Vasylieva, member of the Supervisory Board of “Prozorro. Sales".
