Тріумф у Базелі — Хорова капела Українського Радіо на сцені Chorzentrum Kulturkirche
23 жовтня концерт Хорової Капели Українського Радіо відкрив міжнародний музичний фестиваль «Martinûm Festtage 2022» на сцені ChorzentrumKulturkirche в місті Базель, Швейцарія. Протягом тижня члени Хорової Капели були залучені до декількох зустрічей, що об’єднали митців з Європи.

Концерт-відкриття мав символічну назву «Mene Tekel» із тексту центрального твору програми Симфонії №8 чеського композитора Милослава Кабелача. Ця симфонія є рефлексією на страшні події 1968 року — напад радянських військ на Прагу.
«Всі відчуття пережитого передані композитором гостро і натуралістично. Твір справляє сильне емоційне враження, в якомусь сенсі — потрясіння, — ділиться враженнями художня керівниця колективу Юлія Ткач. — Щаслива, що мали нагоду і честь представити Україну європейській культурній спільноті. Мали можливість ще і ще раз нагадати про незламність, міць і силу українського народу!»
Також були виконані знакові українські твори Дмитра Бортнянського, Максима Березовського, Миколи Лисенка, Кирила Стеценка, Миколи Леонтовича та національні твори-символи.
«Свій успіх і визнання у Швейцарії наш колектив присвячує Україні та нашому Війську, а кожен аншлаг стає для них способом донести багатолюдній залі глядачів інформацію про війну росії проти нас і нашу боротьбу та подякувати Швейцарії за підтримку нашої країни у ці часи!» — зазначив член правління Суспільного, відповідальний за платформи радіо та телебачення, Дмитро Хоркін.
Головний меседж організаторів Фестивалю — донести світу, що війна в Україні — це не проблема однієї країни. Генеральну репетицію і сам концерт записувала Європейська мовна спілка.
Хорова капела Українського Радіо — один з найавторитетніших провідних хорових колективів України та Європи. За 90 років активної творчої діяльності легендарний колектив здійснив кілька тисяч концертних виступів, безліч прямих ефірів на радіо й телебаченні, створив понад 10 тисяч фондових записів, серед них музика до кінофільмів — наукових, художніх, документальних та анімаційних кінострічок.

ЄМС/ЄСРТ також є розпорядником ліцензій на трансляцію чемпіонатів світу з футболу, турнірів УЄФА (Ліга Чемпіонів, Ліга Європи, Суперкубок УЄФА, чемпіонат Європи з футболу), зимових та літніх Олімпійських ігор, ралі «Дакар», інших світових подій.

Triumph in Basel – Ukrainian Radio Choir on the stage of Chorzentrum Kulturkirche
On 23 October, the concert of the Ukrainian Radio Choir opened the international music festival Martinûm Festtage 2022 on the stage of the Chorzentrum Kulturkirche in Basel, Switzerland. During the week, members of the Choir were involved in several meetings that brought together artists from Europe.

The opening concert was symbolically titled Mene Tekel from the text of the central work of the programme, namely Symphony No. 8 by Czech composer Miloslav Kabeláč. This symphony is a reflection on the terrible events of 1968, that is, the attack of Soviet troops on Prague.
“All the emotions of the experience are conveyed by the composer in a sharp and naturalistic way. The work makes a strong emotional impression, a shock in a sense, — Yulia Tkach, the artistic director of the collective, shares her impressions — I am happy that we had the opportunity and honor to present Ukraine to the European cultural community. We had the opportunity to remind again and again about the invincibility, power and strength of the Ukrainian people!”
Also, iconic Ukrainian works by Dmitry Bortniansky, Maxim Berezovsky, Mykola Lysenko, Kyrylo Stetsenko, Mykola Leontovych and national symbolic works were performed.
“Our team dedicates its success and recognition in Switzerland to Ukraine and our Armed Forces, and each full house becomes a way for them to inform the crowded audience about russia's war against us and our struggle and to thank Switzerland for supporting our country in these times!”, Dmytro Khorkin, member of the Managing Board of Suspilne, responsible for radio and television platforms, said.
The main message of the Festival organizers is to convey to the world that the war in Ukraine is not a problem of one country. The dress rehearsal and the concert itself were recorded by the European Broadcasting Union.
The Ukrainian Radio Choir is one of the most authoritative leading choirs in Ukraine and Europe. For 90 years of active creative work, the legendary collective has performed several thousand concerts, many live broadcasts on radio and television, created more than 10 thousand stock recordings, including music for scientific, fiction, documentary and animated films.
