Радіо Культура приєдналося до проєкту «Щоденники війни», ініційованого візіонеркою Христиною Храновською та організованого ГО Port of Culture за підтримки МЗС України. В межах проєкту в мерії Амстердама (Нідерланди) проходитиме виставка «Щоденники війни: непочуті голоси українських дітей», присвячена особистим історіям дітей та підлітків, які на власні очі побачили війну в Україні.

Ведуча Радіо Культура Тетяна Трощинська записала для проєкту інтерв’ю з п’ятьма героями та героїнями цієї виставки, які зустріли широкомасштабне вторгнення у Маріуполі, Харкові та Білій Церкві й задокументували його у своїх щоденниках.

Записані аудіоінтерв’ю стануть доповненням до оригіналів дитячих щоденників і малюнків, які будуть представлені на виставці, — їх можна буде прослухати за qr-кодами, розміщеними біля експонатів. Також ці інтерв’ю прозвучать в ефірі Радіо Культура.

«Радіо Культура має виняткову практику роботи з радіодокументальними програмами. Формат щоденників для нас не новий, але й дуже відповідальний. Тому ми з великим трепетом взялися за співпрацю з проєктом “Щоденники війни”. Ведучою інтерв’ю з юними літописцями війни стала наша колега Тетяна Трощинська — надзвичайно чуйна журналістка, котра вміє доброчесно й обережно працювати з найскладнішими темами», — розповіла виконавча продюсерка Радіо Культура Ірина Славінська.

Офіційне відкриття виставки «Щоденники війни: Непочуті голоси українських дітей» відбудеться у мерії Амстердама 17 серпня, триватиме вона до 24 вересня. На виставці будуть представлені 14 історій, які дадуть можливість відвідувачам ознайомитися з досвідом війни в Україні очима дітей, без метафор. Візуальна презентація оригіналів дитячих щоденників, а також аудіо- та відеоінтерв’ю з героями історій дозволять усвідомити емоції та враження дітей під час війни в Україні. Виставка також наголошує на тому, що існує безліч нерозказаних історій, які потребують уваги.

«Нотатки щоденників трьох українських дітей вже були зачитані з трибуни Генасамблеї ООН. Наступним етапом буде виставка в Амстердамі. Кожна з цих історій вражає по-своєму. Картини, погляд від яких неможливо відвести, та які пронизують болем втрати й страждань. Щоденники, в яких мали б бути записи про друзів, прогулянки та дитячі бажання, а натомість описано дні окупації та емоції від втрати батьків. Відео знищених міст, результатів зруйнованої інфраструктури й життя в окупації, замість веселих спогадів з таборів. Малюнки з військовими, зброєю та рідними, яких вони не повернуть. Та інші артефакти, які є ще одним доказом терористичних дій окупантів. Цим проєктом ми також прагнемо змотивувати ділитися своїми історіями, щоб всі голоси дітей були почуті», — каже візіонерка та ініціаторка проєкту Христина Храновська.

Також у межах проєкту заплановано проведення воркшопів української мисткині Алевтини Кахідзе «Малюючи мапу від минулого до майбутнього», які відбудуться в Будинку Анни Франк 16 та 17 вересня.

Реалізація проєкту «Щоденники війни» стала можливою завдяки ініціативі Христини Храновської та команді ГО Port of Culture, а також підтримці партнерів, зокрема Благодійного Фонду «Діти Героїв», Благодійного Фонду «Голоси дітей», Платформи «Тю», Мерії Амстердама, Будинку Анни Франк, МЗС України та Посольства України в Королівстві Нідерланди. 

Христина Храновська — ініціаторка та візіонерка проєкту «Щоденники війни». Протягом останніх 15 років Христина присвятила себе соціальним, освітнім та культурним ініціативам, спрямованим на розширення можливостей молодого покоління. Вона щороку організовує святкування українського Різдва, активно заохочуючи збереження етнічних та культурних традицій. У відповідь на повномасштабне вторгнення росії вона зосередилася на створенні соціальних проєктів, які мають на меті висвітлення нагальних проблем.

ГО Port of Culture — це українська інституція культурного розвитку, заснована у 2017 році. Організація створює та реалізує міжнародні культурні проєкти, спрямовані на популяризацію української культури по всьому світу. Співпрацює з такими партнерами, як USAID, House of Europe, Міністерство культури та інформаційної політики України, Міністерство закордонних справ України, Український інститут, ООН Жінки, ЮНІСЕФ, Brussels Culture, Міська рада Ліверпуля, Укрзалізниця та United24.

War Diaries - new radio project dedicated to the war with  voices of Ukrainian children on Radio Kultura

Radio Kultura has joined the War Diaries project, initiated by visionary Khrystyna Khranovska and organized by the Port of Culture NGO with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. As part of the project, the City Hall of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) will host the exhibition 'War Diaries: Unheard Voices of Ukrainian Children', dedicated to the personal stories of children and teenagers who saw the war in Ukraine with their own eyes.

For the project, Radio Kultura host Tetiana Troshchynska recorded interviews with five heroes of the exhibition, who met the large-scale invasion in Mariupol, Kharkiv, and Bila Tserkva and documented it in their diaries.

The recorded audio interviews will be complemented by the original children's diaries and drawings that will be presented at the exhibition - they can be listened by using qr-codes placed near the exhibits. These interviews will also be broadcast on Radio Kultura.

"Radio Kultura has an exceptional practice of working with radio documentary programs. The diary format is not new to us, but it is also very responsible. That is why we started working with the War Diaries project with great trepidation. Our colleague Tetyana Troshchynska, an extremely sensitive journalist who knows how to work with the most difficult topics with integrity and care, became the host of the interviews with the young chroniclers of the war," said Iryna Slavinska, executive producer of Radio Kultura.

The official opening of the exhibition "War Diaries: Unheard Voices of Ukrainian Children" will be officially opened at the Amsterdam City Hall on August 17 and will run until September 24. The exhibition will feature 14 stories that will allow visitors to get acquainted with the experience of war in Ukraine through the eyes of children, without metaphors. The visual presentation of original children's diaries, as well as audio and video interviews with the characters of the stories, will allow visitors to understand the emotions and impressions of children during the war in Ukraine. The exhibition also emphasizes that there are many untold stories that need attention.

"The diary notes of three Ukrainian children have already been read out from the rostrum of the UN General Assembly. The next step will be an exhibition in Amsterdam. Each of these stories is impressive in its own way. Pictures from which it is impossible to look away and which pierce with the pain of loss and suffering. Diaries that should contain entries about friends, walks, and childhood desires, but instead describe the days of occupation and the emotions of losing parents. Videos of destroyed cities, the results of destroyed infrastructure, and life under occupation, instead of happy memories from the camps. Drawings with the military, weapons, and relatives they will not return. And other artifacts that are further evidence of the occupiers' terrorist actions. With this project, we also aim to motivate them to share their stories so that all children's voices are heard," says Khrystyna Khranovska, a visionary and project initiator.

The project also includes workshops by Ukrainian artist Alevtina Kakhidze entitled "Drawing a Map from the Past to the Future" to be held at the Anne Frank House on September 16 and 17.

The War Diaries project was made possible thanks to the initiative of Khrystyna Khranovska and the Port of Culture team, as well as the support of partners, including the Children of Heroes Charitable Foundation, Voices of Children Charitable Foundation, “Tiu” Platform, Amsterdam City Hall, Anne Frank House, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Khrystyna Khranovska is the initiator and visionary behind the War Diaries project. Over the past 15 years, Khrystyna has dedicated herself to social, educational, and cultural initiatives aimed at empowering the younger generation. She organizes Ukrainian Christmas celebrations every year, actively promoting the preservation of ethnic and cultural traditions. In response to Russia's full-scale invasion, she has focused on creating social projects that aim to highlight pressing issues.

Port of Culture is a Ukrainian cultural development institution founded in 2017. The organization creates and implements international cultural projects aimed at popularizing Ukrainian culture around the world. It cooperates with partners such as USAID, House of Europe, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Institute, UN Women, UNICEF, Brussels Culture, Liverpool City Council, Ukrzaliznytsia, and United24.
