У четвер, 4 травня, на Медіасаміті Європейської мовної спілки (TV Committee and Digital Committee) генеральну продюсерку діджитал-платформ Суспільного Мовлення Вікторію Муровану обрано членкинею діджитал-комітету ЄМС.

Обрання відбулося шляхом таємного голосування делегатами від суспільних мовників-членів ЄМС. Загалом обрано 13 представників комітету, до складу якого входять голова комітету, заступники та члени. Головою та заступниками діджитал-комітету обрано представників суспільних мовників Португалії, Ірландії та Швеції відповідно.

За словами Вікторії Мурованої, центральні напрями роботи діджитал-комітету ЄМС будуть визначені у червні, коли відбудеться перша зустріч новообраного комітету. 

Членство Суспільного в діджитал комітеті Європейської мовної спілки дасть змогу ще глибше інтегруватися у європейську спільноту, першими дізнаватися тренди й мати союзників у переговорах з великими міжнародними платформами, розширити можливості для копродукції і брати участь у міжнародних процесах та ініціативах ЄМС.

«Досвід зростання Суспільного на цифрових платформах є надзвичайно цінним, — підкреслила Вікторія Мурована. — Адже під час війни маємо швидко пріоритизувати напрями роботи й надавати найширшу контентну пропозицію, насамперед новин, нашим аудиторіям там, де вони її очікують».

Своїми задачами як членкині діджитал-комітету ЄМС Вікторія називає роботу з аудиторіями, аналіз тенденцій у її вподобаннях та адаптацію успішних діджитал-форматів. 

Вона додала, що члени-мовники ЄМС, зокрема Суспільне, на перше місце ставлять аудиторію, а вже потім — платформи.

Нагадаємо, діджитал-комітет ЄМС є головним органом, що визначає політику в цифровому секторі. 

Комітет працює в інтересах усіх членів діджитал-спільноти та має основні завдання:

• рекомендації щодо стратегії та цілей Діджитал-підрозділу ЄМС у межах Медіадепартаменту ЄМС та нагляд за цією діяльністю відповідно до спільно визначеного плану роботи;
• допомога ЄМС у визначенні стратегічних викликів, які впливають на виробництво, розповсюдження та інновації цифрового контенту, продуктів або послуг суспільних медіа (PSM);
• представлення інтересів членів ЄМС в усіх питаннях стратегії та виробництва цифрового контенту шляхом надання рекомендацій для ЄМС щодо формулювання спільних позицій та участі в обов’язкових обговореннях з третіми сторонами;
• заохочення й залучення всіх членів ЄМС до виробництва та обміну цифровим контентом;
• моніторинг і підтримка членів у цифровій трансформації та перетворення потреб членів у пропозиції щодо послуг ЄМС.

Viktoriia Murovana elected as a member of the EBU Digital Committee

On Thursday, May 4, at the European Broadcasting Union Media Summit (TV Committee and Digital Committee), Viktoriia Murovana, General Producer of digital platforms of the Suspilne Ukraine, was elected a Member of the EBU Digital Committee.

The election took place by secret ballot by delegates from the PSM -Members of the EBU. In total, 13 representatives of the Committee were elected, which includes the Chair, Vice-Chairsand Members. Representatives of PSM from Portugal, Ireland and Sweden were elected as Chairand Vice-Chairs of the Digital Committee, respectively.

According to Viktoriia Murovana, the central areas of work of the EBU Digital Committee will be determined in June, when the first meeting of the newly elected Committee will take place. 

Suspilne Ukraine membership in the EBU Digital Committee will allow it to integrate even deeper into the European community, be the first to learn trends and have allies in negotiations with big international platforms, expand opportunities for co-production and participate in international processes and initiatives of the EBU.

"The experience of Suspilne Ukraine growth on digital platforms is extremely valuable," emphasised Viktoriia Murovana, "because during the war we have to quickly prioritise our work areas and provide the widest content offer, especially news, to our audiences where they expect it".

As a Member of the EBU Digital Committee, Victoriia says her tasks include working with audiences, analysing trends in their preferences and adapting successful digital formats. 

She added that the EBU member states, including Suspilne Ukraine, put the audience first, and only then the platforms.

As a reminder, the EBU Digital Committee is the main policy-making body in the digital sector. 

The Committee works in the interests of all Members of the digital community and has the following main tasks

– Recommending the strategy and objectives of the EBU Digital Unit within the Media Department and overseeing these activities according to a jointly defined work plan.

– Helping the EBU to identify the strategic challenges that impact the production, distribution and innovation of public service media (PSM) digital content, products or services. 

– Representing EBU Members’ interests in all digital content strategy and production matters by producing recommendations for the EBU to formulate shared positions and engaging in mandated discussions with third parties.

– Encouraging and involving all EBU Members in the production and sharing of digital content.

– Monitoring and supporting Members in digital transformation and translating Members’ needs into proposals for EBU services.
