Суспільне Мовлення за підтримки посольства США в Україні оголосило переможців мистецького конкурсу на виробництво проєктів на умовах надання гранту Державного департаменту США.

Було визначено трьох переможців, що реалізують проєкти на тему «Cancel russia, або чому російський балет вбиває», — ТОВ «Ріал Пікчерс», ФОП Наталія Пономарьова та ФОП Андрій Єрьомін.

The Real Pictures (ТОВ «Ріал Пікчерс») перемогли з документальним фільмом «Ведмідь». Режисер — Валентин Шпаков, сценарист — Євген Тунік, автор ідеї та продюсер — Олексій Гладушевський.

Про фільм. Група студентів акторського вишу з початком війни вимушено переїжджає на захід України, де намагається продовжити навчання. Вони молоді, талановиті, амбітні й попри все мріють стати професійними акторами. Але на заваді цьому стає випускна вистава за твором російського класика, який студенти готували ще до війни. Частина з них відмовляється грати у постановці, чим ставить під загрозу подальше навчання усієї групи. Разом вони шукають рішення і хочуть зрозуміти, чому серед тисяч п’єс обрали твір російської культури, яка зараз «рятує» їх бомбами.

Про компанію. The Real Pictures була заснована у 2019 році. Спеціалізується на виробництві та обслуговуванні фільмів для іноземних компаній. «Наша місія — створювати якісні міжнародні фільми та медіаконтент, що надихає на позитивні зміни», — говориться на офіційному сайті компанії. У фільмах компанії в різні роки брали участь такі актори як Ахтем Сеітаблаєв і Римма Зюбіна. 

Prosto production (ФОП Наталія Пономарьова) перемогли з проєктом документального 72-хвилинного фільму «Щедрик проти «русского міра». Режисер — Олександр Назаров, сценаристка — Наталка Пономарів, продюсер — Вячеслав Пономарьов. 

Про фільм. У центрі сюжету — світові гастролі хорової капели Олександра Кошиця 1918–1924 років, що були актом культурної дипломатії Української Народної Республіки за ініціативи Симона Петлюри. У фільмі переплітаються дві лінії. Перша — прагнення України до справедливості й незалежності, свого належного місця на європейській мапі. Друга — прагнення росії все зруйнувати, заперечити чи присвоїти. Єдиний народ, одна культура – хибний маніпулятивний наратив, з яким росія виступала понад 100 років тому, і який не змінився і сьогодні.

Одна з нещодавніх робіт креативної команди — восьмисерійний документальний серіал «Спадок Терещенків» на замовлення телеканалу Суспільне Культура. 

ФОП Андрій Єрьомін створить документальний серіал з 6 епізодів по 48 хвилин кожен «Вперед в минуле. Або як працює російська пропаганда». Сценаристка — Дар’я Майборода, режисерка — Ганна Білоус, продюсер — Андрій Єрьомін.

Про фільм. Документальний серіал має на меті показати, яких масштабних і глобальних розмірів досягла російська пропаганда у всьому світі. Кожна з шести серій документального серіалу буде присвячена окремій темі. В першій, вступний, серії буде йти мова про механізми та зони впливу російської пропаганди в цілому. В інших п’яти буде детально розкрито, як працює пропаганда в певній соціокультурній сфері: кіно, телебачення, балет і музика, спорт, література. Наратив буде побудований через зіставлення історичних реалій і подій сьогодення. 

Андрій Єрьомін відомий співпрацею із Суспільним над «Дитячим пісенним конкурсом Євробачення-2021». Також — за популярними телепроєктами «Пекельна Кухня», «На ножах», «Смачне побачення», «Ревізор проти Шефа».

У цілому до участі в конкурсі було подано 13 заявок. 

Всі фільми мистецького конкурсу об'єднані темою «Cancel russia, або чому російський балет вбиває» — про те, що росія для маніпулювання суспільною свідомістю та просування у світі проросійських наративів використовує митців та лідерів думок інших країн, які, своєю чергою, транслюють ідеологеми та меседжі російської пропаганди, що суперечать національним інтересам їхніх країн, і підсилюють росію в її агресивних намірах.

The winners of the Art Competition for the creation of projects Cancel Russia or Why Russian Ballet Kills announced

Suspilne Ukraine, with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine, announced the winners of an Art Competition for the production of projects under the terms of a grant from the US Department of State.

Three winners to produce projects on the topic Cancel Russia or Why Russian Ballet Kills were identified, namely Real Pictures, LLC, sole proprietor Nataliia Ponomarova, and sole proprietor Andrii Yeromin.

The Real Pictures, LLC won with the documentary Vedmid (Bear). The director is Valentyn Shpakov, the screenwriter is Yevhen Tunik, the author of the idea and the producer is Oleksii Hladushevskyi.

About the film. With the beginning of the war, a group of students of an acting college is forced to move to the west of Ukraine, where they try to continue their studies. They are young, talented, ambitious and, despite everything, dream of becoming professional actors. But this is hindered by the graduation performance based on the work of the Russian classic, which the students prepared before the war. Some of them refuse to play in the performance, which jeopardizes the further study of the entire group. Together, they are looking for a solution and want to understand why, among thousands of plays, they chose a work of Russian culture, which is now “saving” them with bombs.

About the company. The Real Pictures was founded in 2019. It is specialized in the production and service of films for foreign companies. “Our mission is to create high-quality international films and media content that inspires positive change,” says the company's official website. Such actors as Akhtem Seitablayev and Rymma Ziubina participated in the company's films in different years.

Prosto production (Sole proprietor Nataliia Ponomarova) wons with the project of the 72-minute documentary film Shchedryk proty “russkoho mira” (Shchedryk Against the Russian Peace). The director is Oleksandr Nazarov, the screenwriter is Natalka Ponomariv, the producer is Viacheslav Ponomarov.

About the film. In the center of the plot are the world tours of Choir Chapel of Oleksandr Koshyts in 1918-1924, which were an act of cultural diplomacy of the Ukrainian People's Republic at the initiative of Symon Petliura. Two story lines intertwine in the film. The first is Ukraine's desire for justice and independence, its rightful place on the European map. The second is Russia's desire to destroy, deny or appropriate everything. One people, one culture is a false manipulative narrative that Russia advocated more than 100 years ago, and which has not changed even today.

One of the recent works of the creative team is the eight-episode documentary series The Tereshchenkos’ Legacy by the Suspilne Kultura TV channel.

Sole proprietor Andrii Yeromin will create a documentary series of 6 episodes of 48 minutes each Vpered v mynule abo yak pratsiuie rosiiska propahanda (Forward to the Past. Or How Russian Propaganda Works). The screenwriter is Dariia Maiboroda, the director is Hanna Bilous, the producer is Andrii Yeromin.

About the film. The documentary series aims to show the large-scale and global dimensions that Russian propaganda has reached around the world. Each of the six episodes of the documentary series will be devoted to a separate topic. In the first introductory episode we will talk about the mechanisms and areas of influence of Russian propaganda as a whole. In the other five, it will be revealed in detail how propaganda works in a certain social and cultural sphere, namely cinema, television, ballet and music, sports, literature. The narrative will be built through the juxtaposition of historical realities and current events.

Andrii Yeromin is known for his cooperation with Suspilne on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Also, he worked on the popular TV projects Pekelna Kukhnia (Hell's Kitchen), Na Nozhah (On the Knives), Smachne Pobachennia (Delicious Date), Revizor Proty Shefa (Inspector vs. Chief).

In total, 13 applications were submitted for participation in the competition.

All the films of the art competition are united by the topic Cancel Russia or Why Russian Ballet Kills about the fact that Russia uses artists and opinion leaders of other countries to manipulate public consciousness and promote pro-Russian narratives in the world, who, in turn, broadcast ideologies and messages of Russian propaganda that contradict the national interests of their countries and strengthen Russia in its aggressive intentions.
