“Suspilne Sport broadcast the Wimbledon tournament for the first time, and one of our goals was not just to show the matches but to convey everything happening around them, all the emotions of the Ukrainian players and their opponents. Of course, this is a special tournament, and this year viewers had the opportunity to watch it across different platforms. That’s why having the Suspilne Sport team directly on the Wimbledon courts — from the tournament preview all the way to Marta Kostyuk’s semifinal — became even more important. We know what we’ll be working on throughout the year so that next season we can cover Wimbledon even better — all the matches, even more commentary, and even more content”, — says Oleksii Mandziy, head of Suspilne’s sports division.
