Two Suspilne News projects have made the list of finalists in the main categories of the “Honor of the Profession 2026” competition. The shortlist of the best entries was announced by the jury and the competition’s selection committee on May 18.
The finalist in the “Best War Reporting” category is the piece “Killzone Donbas: Why the War of Robots is Impossible Without Humans” (authors: Anastasia Ivantsiv and Oleksandr Magula).
The shortlist for the “Best Analysis” category includes the documentary “The ‘Spider’ and Others Who Went Unpunished” (journalist — Alla Sadovnyk, screenwriter — Inna Biletska, director — Vladyslav Vasylchenko, cinematographer — Svitlana Koval, editor and composer — Aleksandr Stratonov, producer — Olga Tatarenko).
The announcement and award ceremony for the winners will take place on June 4. In total, participants submitted 1,011 entries to the competition this year: 790 in the main categories and 221 in the special categories.
As a reminder, in 2025, five Suspilne projects were finalists in the “Honor of the Profession” competition.
