This autumn, Pershyi TV Channel is unveiling a refreshed visual identity. The new on-air graphics for the main television platform of Suspilne’s news broadcasting are based on a visual concept developed by the Hansa agency. At its core is a semicircular lens — a prism — symbolizing transparency, balance, and the diversity of opinions, platforms, and types of content.

«For the second year in a row, Pershyi TV Channel has been steadily growing in audience reach and market share. The new design, simplified and reimagined under the conditions of full-scale war, is being launched to help viewers navigate the channel’s programming more easily. The concept highlights the proximity and broad presence of Suspilne’s news teams across the country, adding a sense of unity during these challenging times», — said Andrii Taranov, member of the Managing Board of Suspilne Ukraine, responsible for marketing and international relations.

On air, the prism becomes part of the country’s landscape — symbolizing a media outlet that coexists in symbiosis with society: interacting organically, not distorting information, not imposing biased opinions, but focusing on real events that matter and have an impact on our lives.

«Pershyi TV Channel is the voice of a professional, reliable, and authoritative source of information that speaks to its audience in a clear and confident language. Its content meets viewers’ demand for high-quality, verified news they can trust. The channel’s market share reached 1.2% in the first three quarters of this year», — said Hryhorii Tychyna, Chief Producer of Suspilne Ukraine Television Directorate.

«Modern on-air solutions — including multi-screens combined with other graphic elements — create the effect of constant presence in the information space. They give our viewers confidence that they won’t miss anything important and will always have access to high-quality, verified information», — added Olena Bondaruk, Director of Suspilne Ukraine Marketing and Communications Directorate.

News editions on Pershyi TV Channel air hourly from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with the main summary at 9:00 p.m. The daily current affairs program “Suspilne. Studio” offers exclusive live coverage of key political events. The weekly talk show “New Countdown” provides analysis of both Ukrainian and global contexts, while “Removska. Interview” features thought leaders, politicians, and experts. The schedule also includes documentary projects and investigations.

«The programming grid of Pershyi TV Channel is simple and convenient for viewers. Its balanced structure combines news bulletins with their reflection and analysis in the live program ‘Suspilne. Studio’, allowing viewers to stay informed and receive in-depth analysis, — saidOlena Tovstenko, Head of Programming Department of Suspilne Ukraine Television Directorate.«We are open to new formats, offering special broadcasts and live coverage of major international events, as well as investigative journalism — both in-house and in partnership — and relevant documentaries. All this builds a coherent picture of the present, helping the audience receive live information from different parts of the world, better understand complex processes, and make informed decisions.»

Research by Suspilne’s team shows that viewers of Pershyi TV Channel seek regular updates about daily and weekly events, key international developments, news from the frontlines, and stories from communities across Ukraine. Overall, the audience values accessible and clear analysis, in-depth coverage of current issues, and meaningful discussions.
