Valeriya Bezpala concludes her work at Suspilne Ukraine team, where she headed the Department of international relations for two years.
“These past two years at Suspilne Ukraine have been incredibly fulfilling, both professionally and personally. I had the opportunity to work with people who prove every day that independent public broadcasting is not just an institution, but a vital component of a country’s democratic resilience. Together, we developed international partnerships, identified new opportunities for collaboration, and ensured that Suspilne’s voice and expertise were heard on the international stage. I am sincerely grateful to my colleagues for their trust and support. And although my professional journey continues in a different field, I remain a great supporter of Suspilne and its mission,” says Valeriya Bezpala.
“Valeriya Bezpala has done a tremendous job strengthening and developing Suspilne’s ties with international organizations, diplomatic missions in Ukraine, and Ukrainian embassies abroad. Our team is sad to say goodbye to such a strong professional, but I believe that her future work will be extremely important and beneficial for Ukraine. I am very grateful to Valeria for her collaboration and wish her success in her new field,” noted Andriy Taranov, a member of the managing board of Suspilne Ukraine, responsible for marketing, research, and international relations.
Valeriya joined the broadcaster’s team in 2024. Starting in October 2024, she headed the Department of International Relations, where she actively worked to develop international partnerships, strengthened cooperation with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and diplomatic missions, and promoted Suspilne’s position and expertise within European institutions and at international professional forums.
In addition, in May 2025, Valeriya Bezpala was elected to the EBU’s Expert Group on International Relations. As a member of this group, she worked to advance public broadcasting in Europe, particularly by strengthening partnerships, implementing best practices, and supporting advocacy initiatives.
Going forward, Valeriya Bezpala will continue her professional career in the field of international relations.
