Ukraine’s representative at Eurovision 2026 LELÉKA presented the Eurovision version of her song ‘Ridnym’. It is the song to be performed on the contest stage in Vienna, reports Suspilne.
The video has been published on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.
The updated version was enhanced by an even richer sound of the music instrument bandura performed by musician Yaroslav Dzhus.
“This Eurovision version of the song ‘Ridnym’ is special to me. I wanted to emphasize its roots and sound even more strongly, so there is more pure sound of bandura at the beginning. Bandura is a very symbolic instrument for Ukrainian culture. Its sound contains our history, our songs, and memory. I call it the “Ukrainian harp”, but it has an even deeper meaning for us — it is the sound that instantly brings us home.”
LELÉKA is currently preparing to perform at Eurovision 2026. In addition, she will visit three European music events, including two preparties: Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam on 11 April and London Eurovision Party on 19 April.
The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Vienna. The Eurovision Grand Final will be held on Saturday, May 16, and the semi-finals on May 12 and 14. The contest will be held at Austria’s largest indoor arena, the Wiener Stadthalle.
