Junior Eurovision 2026 shared the clip of the Ukrainian’s representative, Erika Kolesnichenko with the song “NOT A LULLABY”, performance. The video was published on the official YouTube channel Eurovision Ukraine from Suspilne Ukraine.
As stage directors Lesya Podolyanko and Illia Osiadlyi have noted, the audience will be treated to a real spectacle on stage.
In the 30-second clip, you can see Erika Kolesnichenko being carried away from the real world into a fairy-tale realm, complete with huge stone caves and staircases. Erika appears to be riding a bicycle, which is mimicked by dancers in green fringed costumes. They then all perform a viral dance routine together. Erika interacts actively with the camera and conveys the mood of the song.
“We wanted to bring one of the brightest images of childhood to the stage. That’s why there’s a bicycle in the act — and yet there isn’t, because it’s all happening in a dream. The world around Erika changes right before our eyes, and the audience will witness this fairy-tale dream. The finale will surprise even those who have already seen the rehearsal. So don’t miss it on 24 October at 21:00 CEST. The team is working non-stop so that Ukraine can show what it’s capable of when it comes to dreaming — boldly and to the full,” said stage directors Lesya Podolyanko and Illia Osiadlyi.
