Suspilne announced the hosts of the Ukrainian National Selection for Eurovision-2026. They are Timur Miroshnychenko, the official voice of ESC in Ukraine, and Ukrainian TV presenter Lesia Nikitiuk.

On February 7, in the final of Vidbir, the star duo will work both together and separately in different areas of the location.

Pre-show of Vidbir will be hosted by Anna Tulieva, presenter of the Eurovision Ukraine video blog. Anna will also join the main part of the show as the host of the Eurofans zone, which will be a new feature of this year’s Ukrainian National Selection.

“Vidbir for me is always not just a show, that is a moment when you can literally feel the pulse of the Eurovision. To be the host of the first Eurofans zone is about energy, pure emotions, and constant dialogue with people who live this music as passionately as I do. There is no falseness: each reaction is pure, each story is alive. I greatly appreciate the trust placed in me to be this voice and this bridge between the stage and the fans. For me, it is a great responsibility and, at the same time, absolute happiness,” shared Anna Tulieva.

Ukrainian Eurovision evening will start on February 7 with a pre-show at 6 p.m. Suspilne will broadcast Vidbir-2026 on the Suspilne Culture TV channel, on the Eurovision Ukraine YouTube channel, and on the Suspilne Culture and eurovision.ua websites. The broadcast will also be available to listen to on the airwaves of Eurovision’s official partner, Radio Promin.

“This year will be the first time for me to host the Ukrainian National Selection and I am very nervous about it. However, my passion for music and interest towards new participants have never left me. For a lot of years now, I have never missed the Ukrainian National Selection and Eurovision Song Contest. I always write down my top five songs in a notebook. I never guess the winner, but I tirelessly believe that I still understand music. I want to emphasize once again that for me this is not just a show that I am going to host — Eurovision is something that I have been genuinely interested in for many years.

Today I especially want to be part of this fateful moment when one of the Ukrainian stars will bring their light to Europe even despite the darkness at home,” noted Lesia Nikitiuk.

Timur Miroshnychenko, the longtime host of Vidbir and the official voice of Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine, noted that the 2026 Ukrainian National Selection evening will be interesting and extraordinary.

“I am sure it will be special. Lesia and I have worked together on many different events, but we have never met on air, on the stage of a large-scale concert. This will be our debut together on the big screen. I know that Eurovision has wanted to see Lesya for a long time. I hope that Lesya also wanted to be on the stage of Vidbir. Finally, this match has happened, I am happy to be in such company and I am sure that it will be interesting, extraordinary, and in some places even epic,” commented Timur Miroshnychenko.
