The Chitomo Award announced the shortlists, where the Radio dictation of National Unity-2025 was included in the nomination “Book Initiative for the Promotion of Reading”.
As a reminder, the Radio dictation of National Unity – 2025 took place on October 27, on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language. The largest Ukrainian-language flashmob traditionally united all continents. This year, the author of the text of the Radio dictation of National Unity – 2025 was ukrainian writer, translator and scientist Yevgenia Kuznetsova. The text of the Radiodictation “We Must Live!” was read live from the studio of Ukrainian Radio by actress Natalya Sumska.
Yevgenia Kuznetsova is one of the most popular writers of modern Ukraine. She is known for her books “Ask Miechka”, “The Ladder” and “Whole Sheep” etc.
The ceremony of announcing and awarding the winners of the Chitomo Award will be held on January 29. The results of the Prize will be published on the Chitomo website.
