10 year old Sofia Nersesyan from Kyiv is representing Ukraine this year.
Ukraine representative Sofia Nersesyan is performing under the number 6 with the song “Motanka”. The author of the song is Svitlana Tarabatova. This song is about the most powerful Ukrainian charm that mothers give their children after birth. Now this profile gained even more power because there is a legend that if danger approaches the child the yarn from the motanka starts to glow. “Motanka” — is a song about the power of maternal love.
The competition final will be commented on by Timur Miroshnichenko — constant presenter and commentator of Ukrainian Eurovision.

How to vote for Ukraine
At Junior Eurovision you can vote for your country’s representative. Viewers voting will be held in two parts. Whenever you are: in Ukraine or abroad, in every part of the world the first part of voting starts on Friday, 12th of December, at 10 p.m. and finishes on Saturday, 13th of December, at 5.59 p.m. on the Kyiv time.
