From 2006 to 2014, Yevhen Hlibovytskyi served as an OSCE expert in Central Asia and the Caucasus.
Co-initiator and participant of the Nestorivska Group (2012–2017; Vision for Ukraine 2025), the Univ Expert Group (2007–2011; strategic vision for Lviv 2025), lead expert of the strategy project for Ivano-Frankivsk through 2035, and lead expert of the National Youth Strategy through 2030 approved by Presidential Decree.
In 2024, Yevhen Hlibovytskyi was included in the list of 30 opinion leaders of modern Ukraine whose writings, assessments, and interviews shape the views of the country’s elite and government, according to NV.
Before moving to the analytical and research sector in 2006, he worked as a journalist and editor for leading Ukrainian media outlets: “Channel 5”, “1+1”, National Television Company of Ukraine, “Kyivski Vedomosti”, “Vikna-Novyny” (“Internews”), and “Radio Promin”. He began his career in journalism at the “Post-Postup” newspaper, headed by Oleksandr Kryvenko, and worked extensively with Georgiy Gongadze. He was one of the active participants in the journalists’ movement for freedom of speech and against censorship in 2001–2004.
He teaches a course on social transformation in master’s and bachelor’s programmes at the Ukrainian Catholic University.
In 2000, he received a degree in political science from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. He also studied law at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and philosophy at Bluffton University in the United States.
