On February 1, 2022,  Andriy Taranov took up his duties as a member of the Board of Suspilne Ukraine, responsible for marketing. On December 19, 2025, a member of the Managing Board was re-elected for the next four years.

Andriy Taranov has extensive experience as a marketing and public relations consultant. He graduated from the Faculty of International Information at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, specialising in public relations. He taught courses in marketing communications and advertising at the Institute of International Relations.

In 2004–2005, he worked as a marketing and public relations consultant for the STB television channel.

In 2005, he founded the independent expert group Kwendi, which provides consulting services in media auditing, marketing, and strategy for media outlets in Central Europe and Central Asia.

In 2015, AndriyTaranov was elected a member of the Kyiv City Council and joined the Kyiv City Council’s standing committee on culture, tourism and information policy. In November 2019, he resigned from the Kyiv City Council at his own request.
