From 2009 to 2018, Dmytro Khilchenko worked within the Suspilne team, serving as General Producer of Digital Platforms. During this period, he was one of the initiators of the company’s digital transformation, built the first digital teams, and launched content production for online platforms.

From 2018 to 2023, he worked as a project manager and key expert at Deutsche Welle Akademie.

Between 2021 and 2023, he coordinated projects in Ukraine for BBC Media Action.

From October 2023 to June 2025, he led the UK Government’s cognitive resilience project on media and information literacy (MIL) in Ukraine.

On October 29, 2025, Dmytro Khilchenko was elected as a member of the Managing Board of Suspilne Ukraine for a four-year term.
