Eurovision
The Eurovision Song Contest — is an annual song contest held since 1956 between the member countries of the European Broadcasting Union. The management of the competition from the Ukrainian side is carried out by the joint stock company “Public Broadcasting company of Ukraine”. The general coordination of this international contest is carried out by the European Broadcasting Union.
The Eurovision Song Contest includes two separate formats:
Both contests have their own characteristics, but work together to popularise music, culture and creativity in the international arena. Ukraine actively participates in both contests and has gained recognition thanks to strong performances. In particular, Ukraine won the Eurovision Song Contest three times (2004, 2016, 2022), and in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest — it debuted in 2006 and won in 2012.
Eurovision is not only about music, but also a platform for uniting different cultures, generations and countries, where every participant and viewer can feel the spirit of creativity, equality and friendship.
