Suspilne and STARLIGHT PRODUCTION presented the mock-up for the stage of the Ukrainian National Selection for Eurovision-2026, the final of which will take place on February 7.
According to German Nenov, creative producer of Vidbir 2026, updated technological solutions were added to diversify the competition performances.
“The main task in creating this year’s stage was to make a unique performance space, the design of which would be unlike any previous Ukrainian National Selections.
Last year, we focused on LED screens and the content displayed on them. This year, during the brainstorming session with potential production companies, I set a goal to shift the focus to lighting devices that would shape the geometry of the stage.
It was also important for us to add a floor screen and a moving element to the stage design in order to diversify the performances and expand the expressive means compared to previous years. Our goal was to create a stage that would provide several stage areas at once and remain as flexible as possible for directorial decisions. Thanks to the work of the Starlight Production teams, this idea was accurately captured and perfectly implemented,” commented German Nenov.
